JOHN CARTER OF MARS®: THE AUDIO SERIES!
Tuesday, July 30, 2024 (Tarzana, California) Edgar Rice Burroughs, Inc., the company founded by the creator of Tarzan®, and Pocket Universe Productions™, the audio production company behind EC Comics Presents, are excited to announce the launch of John Carter of Mars®: The Audio Series on Kickstarter! This officially authorized production kicks off with A Princess of Mars®, the timeless novel that introduced John Carter to millions of readers worldwide. For the first time ever, you can experience this beloved saga through a multi-cast audio drama featuring stellar talent from both the United Kingdom and the United States.
Sean Patrick Flanery, of The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles and The Boondock Saints, will voice the lead role of John Carter. He is the John Carter of Mars fans have been waiting for!
“Some of my most potent memories are snapshots from the AM radio stories of my youth. Our whole family would cram onto the bathroom floor and let our ears unfold a brilliant universe. It was the only place that provided complete silence and darkness,” Sean says. “Now, to be involved in painting with an Edgar Rice Burroughs palette? I’m honored. That will most certainly create more of those memories for young and old alike.”
