Recoverings’ reconstructed reproduction first edition dust jacket uses a hi-res scan of the actual Studley O. Burroughs cover painting. The smoke and heat damage caused by the 1958 ERB, Inc. warehouse fire has been digitally cleaned and the painting restored. The text is reset, line for line and word for word, with the same typefaces used on the original.
