Recoverings’ reconstructed reproduction of the first edition dust jacket uses a scan of the actual, seldom seen, John Coleman Burroughs cover painting, digitally restored from the smoke and heat damage incurred in the 1958 ERB, Inc. warehouse fire. Promotional photo for the back cover is reconstructed from new hi-res dust jacket art. Reset, line for line and word for word, with the same typefaces used on the original.
